My greatest story will always be them.

Music is the literature of the heart; it commences where speech ends.

Where it all began
Stories, music, and the path that led me here.
Hi! I’m Jenn, and I’ve been telling stories for as long as I can remember. What began as a childhood dream grew into a lifelong love of words, music, and the powerful connection stories create.
My debut novel, Without You, blends heartfelt romance with the emotional pull of music, inspired in part by the songs and community that have shaped my life.
Today, my writing explores two different sides of romance.
Some of my stories are deeply emotional contemporary romances—stories about friendship, love, music, and the moments that quietly change the course of our lives.
Others dive into darker territory: powerful family dynasties, dangerous loyalties, and the kind of forbidden love that sparks wars and reshapes entire legacies.
Whether set in the quiet intimacy of a small-town love story or the high-stakes world of rival families and shifting power, my characters are always faced with the same question: will they choose the life expected of them, or the one their hearts demand?
• I’ve been married to the love of my life for 30 years. We’re avid hockey fans — Let’s go Griffins! Let’s go Red Wings! We also love going to the Irish Music Festival and Renaissance Fair together.
• I have five amazing adult children who support all of my creative adventures… usually with a few rolled eyes along the way.
• I work full-time overnight as an elder caregiver. One of my clients, Connie, was a tremendous inspiration while I was writing Without You. She passed recently, and I will always carry her encouragement with me. Love and miss you, Connie.
• I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was ten years old. Without You is truly a 40-year dream in the making.
• I represent The Learned Kindred Currie at Celtic festivals around Michigan and the Midwest. Storytelling runs deep in my family - the Curries were hereditary bards in Scotland, with roots in Ireland before that.
• I love researching my family history. Genealogy is endlessly fascinating to me.
• I live on a small farm with three dogs, eleven cats, chickens, goats, geese, ducks, rabbits, and peacocks - life here is never boring - between a massive garden, preserving what we grow, and our buzzing bees.
• I attend Supernatural conventions around the country throughout the year - mostly for the amazing friends I’ve made along the way (though the cast and musicians are pretty great too).
• Music is a huge part of my life. I travel to see some of my favorite artists whenever I can - including Jason Manns, Louden Swain, Billy Moran, Rob Benedict, Radio Company, Skerryvore, and many more.
• I also run fan communities on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok supporting Jason Manns and help fans keep up with live and online shows from many Supernatural-adjacent musicians.
Storytelling has been part of my family for generations. I’m honored to carry that tradition forward, one story at a time.
Thank you for being part of this story - this dream I never let go of.
A few things that shape my stories and my life
